The Fayette-Ware Lady Wildcats fell to Jackson Southside 2-3 last week in a non-district matchup. The Lady Wildcat Nation celebrated six seniors in their last home game during Senior Soccer Night: Kallin Newman, Erika Luna, Destiny Barfield, McKenzie O’Brien, Captain Hannah Morrow and Captain Morgan Boling. Morrow and Boling are the only two senior players who have played all four years since Fayette-Ware’s Inaugural Season in 2012. Coach Duke said the program “moves forward” and he is excited for the remaining players and the incoming freshman. Lady Wildcats start tournament play this week in Trenton as the Lady Wildcats take on Peabody. Fayette-Ware set a team record with seven wins this year (7-8) in the regular season.
