Fayette-Ware students recognized by FCCLA

Fayette-Ware students who are members of FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America) were recently recognized at the School Board meeting. They were recognized because their participation in regional, state and national competitions.

Five out of the six groups came home with awards, and three of them qualified and competed in national competition. Denisha Patrick actually designed a dress from recycled newspaper, which landed her the gold in the Recycle/Redesign competition.

Some of the other competition areas included: Parliamentary Procedures, Chapter Service Display, and reciting the FCCLA Creed.
