The first to arrive at the April 18 sale will find the best selection to welcome spring with flowers for beds, patios, and porches. While supplies last, Scotts Miracle-Gro will provide free Miracle-Gro LiquaFeed plant food and feeder ($12 value) with $50 purchase.
As always, there will be a wide assortment of “all things garden,” including a selection of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, tropicals, shrubs, vegetables, herbs, pallet planters, garden supplies, and more.

Master Gardeners and plant experts will also be on-hand to offer sage advice and guidance.
Although the traditional frost-free planting date isn’t until April 15, early gardening efforts can begin, including thinning plants and preparing grounds for spring vegetation.
Gardeners are asked to save plants for the homegrown section of the sale. Donations of hostas, cannas, lilies and more will be sold, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Fayette Cares.
Homegrown donations are welcomed by 7:30 a.m. on sale day or may be scheduled for pick up by calling 465-3802, ext. 221.
The event offers Fayette County Master Gardener demonstrations, free inflatable bounce house and flower planting station for the children.
The fun will continue at the Oakland Springfest less than two blocks from the plant sale.
Those who shop, donate, or volunteer at the charity sale will plant seeds of caring, helping provide shelter, safety and stability for families in crisis.
