Anderson signs LOI

Fayette-Ware senior Raidarious Anderson has signed a national Letter of Intent to play football for Alcorn State University. Alcorn State University in Mississippi’s Claiborne County is the 2014 SWAC and National Black College Football Champions. Anderson chose Alcorn State over other Div. I schools because of its criminal justice program and Braves’ Head Coach Jay Hopson, who kept in close contact with him throughout his senior year. Before an MCL strain, Anderson led the district in touchdowns, catches and yards per catch. Notable alumni from Alcorn include; author Alex Haley, civil rights activist Medgar Evers and former Titans quarterback Steve McNair.
